What is a childcare center, actually?
Already well known around the world and present here for the last three years, the “Drop-In Child Care” concept represents a modern and flexible model of childcare. We are the only registered company in Novi Sad offering this type of service.
Unlike a classic kindergarten or after-school program, our childcare center lets you leave your child without prior booking during drop-in hours. Whether you need only half an hour of breathing space or several hours, we are here to meet the needs of modern families.
However, our childcare center is not just “hourly care”. Children come to us regularly, in a small and stable group where friendships, safety and routine develop. The number of children in packages is limited so we can give enough attention to every child. Our space is warm, safe and stimulating, with a close atmosphere — like a small community.
Cooperation with the local community, workshops and special events further enrich children’s stay with us — because we know that children learn best through play, interaction and varied experiences.
In short: we are not a kindergarten, but we offer more than a classic childcare center. We build a space of trust, support and flexibility — for children and their parents.
Who takes care of your children?
During their stay at Big Ben Childcare, your children are cared for by a professional and dedicated team with many years of experience working with children. Our work is based on understanding children’s developmental needs, empathy, and creating a safe, warm and stimulating environment.
We are especially proud that the founder and owner of the childcare center has been in this field for more than 10 years, with rich experience in direct work with children of different ages. Her knowledge, love for working with children and continuous education laid the foundations of our approach — where every child is seen, respected and encouraged to grow at their own pace.
Our team works together and with dedication to create an inspiring space for play, learning and development of life skills, with plenty of laughter, movement and creativity. We work in small, stable groups so we can give every child individual attention, security and stability.
How does childcare work?
At our childcare center we care for children aged 1 to 10, offering two flexible stay models that meet different family needs.
1. Regular stay — for children without kindergarten
Children who do not attend kindergarten can stay with us all day according to pre-arranged packages. Children are received from 7:00 to 10:00, and after arrival they remain in the childcare center throughout the day.
Not all parents are required to use the same packages — we have different options adapted to the needs of each family. This service allows parents to entrust their child to a safe environment with careful supervision and stimulating activities throughout working hours.
2. Drop-in care — occasional hourly service
For parents who occasionally need childcare, we offer drop-in care without prior notice, on weekdays from 14:00 to 17:00 and Saturdays from 08:00 to 12:00. Care is charged by each started hour, providing maximum flexibility for urgent and shorter needs.
